Streaming problems with the SA v NZ game this weekend.

Apologies to all users who had difficulties in streaming the SA v NZ game either Live or On Demand.

The excessive buffering that many of you experienced could have been as a result of an increase in bit rates on both Live and VOD file. We increased this from 700K to 1200K to improve picture quality, however this may lead to problems if your connection is not large enough to accommodate this.

In future we will either revert to the lower bit rate or offer a choice of both. In the meantime please try these 700K links of the SA v NZ game:

Having problems watching video in Firefox?

Some users may experience difficulties in playing Windows Media Video in Firefox - this may affect both the embedded video player that we use on our CLIPS page and also within our VIDEO PLAYER.

Additional note: Apologies to all users who have experienced difficulties in using our new site, we're working hard to fix these issues as soon as possible. If you are having problems related to excessive buffering or download time this may be due to the increased size of our video files - we increased the bitrates (from 700 to 1200) to provide better quality.
